Official Baseball Canada News Release

Baseballs signed by Hall of Famers Larry Walker, Mariano Rivera and Jim Thome, along with signed World Baseball Classic jerseys from Freddie Freeman, Edouard Julien and Cal Quantrill, are just some of the items up for bids as part of Baseball Canada’s annual auction for their 20th annual Awards Banquet and Fundraiser that will take place on Saturday in Toronto.

Fantasy sports packages offered by former big leaguer Ryan Dempster (Chicago Cubs/Wrigley Field) and former Super Bowl champion Luke Willson, along with a WestJet travel package, are also on the list that includes Blue Jays ticket packages and exclusive golf experiences.

Some terrific, autographed memorabilia from the likes of Justin Morneau, Russell Martin, Michael Saunders, Michael Soroka, Bo Naylor, Josh Naylor, Tyler O’Neill, Jose Abreu, and William Nylander can also be found on the auction list.

If you wish to place a bid on any of the items (link below), please send an e-mail with your name, item number, bid amount and phone number with subject line “Gala Auction” to media@baseball.ca.

The deadline for submitting bids via e-mail ends at 11:59 pm E.T. on Friday, January 12, but bidding will continue on site at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel until the conclusion of the intermission prior to the awards presentation.

Winning bids for people attending the banquet can pay by cash, debit or credit card on January 13. Winners not attending will be notified via email following the banquet.
