TORONTO – The third and final day of the 2013 MLB Draft took place on Saturday with fifteen Canadians being selected by MLB clubs, bringing the grand total to 20 Canadians taken over the three-day event.

Fifteen players selected are either current or former members of the Canadian Junior National Team.

Baseball Canada would like to congratulate all Canadians that were selected over the past three days.

  1. great list of kids. A 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th rounder is impressive.
    Quantrill must really want to go to school. I thought he would have gone higher.

  2. it got a little annoying to read more than one article dissing the baseball draft as being a waste of time.
    this is the kind of celebration i enjoy. these kids deserve their big moment since the rest of their baseball days will be hard work and hoping for an opportunity.
