Thanks for the photos! I have a deep love for the Expos and it’s heartwarming to see these artifacts. Just seeing them brings back memories of watching the Expos in Windsor and in Quebec while I was a University student learning French in the eighties. Canada should never forget the Expos. I’ll bet there are fans in every Province and Territory who have memories of certain players and games. We need to support their memory and the future of the Jays!!
Thanks for sharing your memories, David. I agree with you wholeheartedly. I’ll never forget the Expos.
I am a diehard Expos fan. I love the Expos original unis. Does the Hall have any Expo jerseys without the thick stripes along the side? Great post, great pics, great memories.
Thanks for stopping by, Jay. I’d imagine that they do. We were only in the behind-the-scenes, 3D area of the Hall of Fame for a relatively short period. I know there was another box in there that had some Bill Stoneman and Rusty Staub items in it. I would also recommend that you visit the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys when it re-opens in May. They have an extensive collection of Expos items that were donated after the Expos folded. Thanks again for stopping by.
