Paul Hodgson, the second Canadian to play for the Toronto Blue Jays, visited the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum in St. Marys, Ont., on August 8.

The Marysville, N.B., native, who’s also the first right-handed hitting Canadian to belt a home run for the Jays, stopped by with his girlfriend Lisa Chisholm. The charismatic ex-big leaguer spent two hours in the museum sharing stories and signing autographs for visitors.

To read more about Hodgson’s fascinating professional baseball odyssey, here’s a link to a story I wrote for the Canadian Baseball Network in May 2011: http://www.canadianbaseballnetwork.com/articles/paul-hodgson-from-marysville-to-a-blue-jays-uniform/
