OTTAWA – The race between London, ON (Labatt Park) and Thunder Bay, ON (Port Arthur Stadium) to determine Canada’s Favourite Ballpark is coming down to a ‘photo finish’.

A record number of votes have been cast since the final round began on August 23rd and there still remains time to vote!

Voting for one of these two great ballparks will close on Tuesday September 6th at 10am ET.

Canada’s Favourite Ballpark contest began with over from forty submissions from all over Canada and now we are down to the final two ballparks. If you haven’t already, make sure to cast your vote by clicking HERE

Canada’s Favourite Ballpark will be revealed on Baseball.ca at 10am ET on Wednesday September 7th.

  1. Two suggestions for Baseball Canada if they repeat this contest in the future:

    1. Release the actual vote tallies at the end of each round, including the final round ~ not just the percentages.

    2. The final round of voting should be one week only, just like the other rounds.

  2. I like Labatt’s Park in London. Looks like a perfect venue for a minor league team? Perhaps for the Toronto Blue Jays?
