Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente, Sparky Anderson and Tommy Lasorda are all in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. But did you know that they spent portions of their professional careers toiling north of the 49th parallel?
These are just a few of the diamond legends that can be linked to Canada. This blog is dedicated to telling the stories of Cooperstowners in Canada, as well as tales about former Toronto Blue Jays, Montreal Expos and Canadians that, though not Cooperstowners, overcame astronomical odds to compete in the big leagues.
