I’m hoping to create a new and improved version of Cooperstowners of Canada in 2013, so stay tuned.
Each year, during the holiday season, I look forward to receiving a Christmas card from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. If you have purchased a membership with the St. Marys-based shrine, you will receive an autographed Christmas card (among other benefits) of a Canadian baseball legend. This year’s card featured Milwaukee Brewers GM Doug Melvin, who hails from Chatham, Ont., and was inducted into the Canadian ball hall this year.
Past legends featured on these cards include Fergie Jenkins (see below), Larry Walker, Jim Fanning and Cito Gaston.
